Swansea City AFC Foundation is delighted to announce bookings are now open for the FIT Jacks programme's next series of sessions, starting in September.

The programme originally launched in February of this year, and is aimed at men and women aged 35 to 65 who are looking to lose weight, get fitter and lead a more active life.

Our first group of participants saw a total weight loss of 112kg, with a waist measurement loss of 114 cm and a total BMI reduction of 34.40.

FIT Jacks involves a free 13-week programme, which is run at the Swansea.com Stadium with weekly sessions taking place between 6pm and 8pm, and our third set of sessions will be launching on Thursday, September 7 2023, with separate men’s and women’s courses available.

The EFL's FIT FANS initiative has helped thousands of people to achieve long-term improvements in weight loss, physical activity, diet, and general wellbeing.

By giving participants the tools, information and support to make small manageable changes to their lifestyles, taking part in FIT Jacks has already made a huge difference to people’s lives.

Caroline Gwilym, Swansea City AFC Foundation health and wellbeing lead, said: “We were delighted to be able to bring the EFL’s FIT FANS project to Swansea earlier in the year.

“Having now nearly completed two intakes, we are seeing first hand how it helps people to make long-term behaviour changes in relation to their lifestyle and health, diet and physical activity, and also the positive impact it has on their mental health and overall wellbeing.”

Spaces for the next group are limited, so book your place HERE.
