Striker Josh Thomas makes Drogheda United loan switch
Swansea City striker Josh Thomas has joined League of Ireland Premier Division outfit Drogheda United on loan until December 31 2025, subject to international clearance.
The 22-year-old spent the first half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Bromley alongside teammate Cameron Congreve where he made three appearances for The Ravens in League Two.
Drogheda, avoided relegation from the Premier Division last campaign after a 3-1 victory in the survival play-off final over Bray Wanderers. The Irish club won the Sports Direct FAI Cup for the second time in November 2024 following a 2-0 win against Derry City in Dublin.
The Wales Under-21 international made his senior debut for the club in the Swans' opening game of the season against Middlesbrough.
