Steven Benda makes Swindon loan move
Swansea City goalkeeper Steven Benda has joined Swindon on a season-long loan, subject to medical and international clearance.
The German, 20, joins up with the League Two Robins, who sit fifth in the table and are under the management of former Leicester and Doncaster midfielder Richie Wellens.
Benda joined Swansea City from 1860 Munich on a three-year deal in August 2017, having been recommended to the club by ex-keeper Gerhard Tremmel.
Benda was part of the first-team matchday squad on 14 occasions during the 2018-19 season, while he also featured 19 times for the under-23s across all competitions.
He went on to sign a new deal through to June 2022 earlier in the summer, and was subsequently called into Steve Cooper's first-team squad during pre-season.
Everyone at Swansea City wishes Steven all the best in his loan spell at the County Ground.
