Steve Cooper | We have left ourselves with work to do
Steve Cooper says Swansea City have to get back to winning ways quickly if they are to keep themselves in the hunt for the Championship play-off spots.
The Swans ended a run of three games in six days with a dramatic 4-4 draw at Hull, being denied the three points by a stoppage-time equaliser.
It came on the back of defeat to Derby and the goalless draw with QPR, a sequence which has left them 11th in the table.
However, despite the setback at Hull, the Swans ended the weekend a point closer to the top six with the deficit cut to five.
And Cooper knows his side will need to start putting together a run of results soon, with just 13 games remaining.
“We have not had a great week, that’s for sure,” said Cooper.
“It’s three games we could, and should, have done better in so we only have ourselves to blame.
“We have not done ourselves much good this week, we have to make up for a bit of lost time.
“There are still games to be played and points to be played for, but we have got to start winning games and quickly.”
