Steve Cooper hopeful on Erwin Mulder fitness
Swansea City head coach Steve Cooper is hopeful it will not be too long until Erwin Mulder can get some minutes under his belt during pre-season.
The Dutch keeper - who made 27 appearances for the Swans last term - has sat out the wins over Mansfield and Crawley after picking up a quad injury during the week-long training camp in Spain.
Jordon Garrick was another to suffer an injury in Spain but, while the under-23 forward is still a little away from full fitness, Cooper hopes to see Mulder back in the thick of the action relatively soon.
"We don't think Jordon will be ready for at least a couple of weeks so we will take our time with him," said Cooper ahead of Tuesday's trip to face Yeovil.
"With Erwin it is more a case of assessing him on a day-to-day basis and seeing when he is ready.
"We are certainly looking forward to getting them back involved, and Tom Carroll is getting closer too.
"The more players we have fit and available the better, particularly at a time like this where you are not giving 90 minutes to players yet.
"But we are in good shape, it is step by step and we look forward to the next week ahead."
