Steve Cooper | Everyone will have their part to play
Steve Cooper says Swansea City will need everyone to contribute as another hectic run of fixtures looms on the horizon.
The Swans host Coventry City at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday night as they look to bounce back from defeat to Huddersfield at the weekend.
The result left the Swans fourth in the table, but they remain just a point of the top two with two games in hand on those above them.
The clash with the Sky Blues will be the latest instalment in a relentless campaign, and is one of eight games the Swans will play in 25 days up to the March international break.
And head coach Cooper – who saw forward Jordan Morris ruled out for the rest of the season against the Terriers – knows how important each and every member of his squad will be.
“That will be our approach, as it always is,” said Cooper.
“We keep everyone involved and we try to keep everyone as game prepared as possible.
“You’re going to need all of your squad to go into a period like this. We’ve got extra games, but that’s another challenge we’ve got to embrace.
“I think everyone is in that boat. There’s very few occasions where we’ve dropped players this season.
“Okay, there’s been times where players maybe haven’t played as well as we’d have liked. We’ve got to try and keep people motivated and confident because I think everyone will be needed.”
