Stacey John-Davis to miss remainder of the season

Swansea City Women’s forward Stacey John-Davis will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a fractured collarbone.

John-Davis sustained the injury in the Swans 3-2 win over Wrexham at Llandarcy Academy of Sport on March 10.

Interim head coach Chris Church was disappointed to lose John-Davis at a crucial time of the season, but wished her a speedy recovery.

“I’m absolutely gutted for Stacey, she is an incredibly valuable member of this squad and this club” said Church.

“She was finding some great form and to have it taken away so cruelly, everyone is really gutted.

“Everyone needs to rally around her now, and provide her all the support and assistance she needs to make a full recovery."
