Simon Paulet completes Westerlo transfer
Swansea City midfielder Simon Paulet has joined Belgian club Westerlo on a free transfer, subject to international clearance.
The move for the 19-year-old, whose contract was set to expire in the summer, includes a sell-on clause and an appearance-related clause.
Paulet joins the second-tier side as they seek to secure a place in the end-of-season promotion play-offs.
The Swans completed the signing of the Belgian youth international in August 2018, joining from Club Brugge on a two-year deal following a successful trial with the Swans' under-23 side.
Paulet made 26 appearances in his first season with the development side, while he scored his first goal for the club in the under-19s' FAW Youth Cup final victory over TNS.
He has made 16 appearances in all competition this season.
