Sebastian Dabrowski visits local Swansea Polish School
Swansea City Under-21s' left-back Sebastian Dabrowski recently visited the Polish Saturday School (Polska Szkoła) in Swansea.
Dabrowski was born in Koszalin, Poland, and moved to the United Kingdom at the age of two in 2007.
The 19-year-old, who has been at Swansea City since 2014, made a presentation to more then 40 children about his career and journey in football, before taking questions from pupils and parents, signing autographs and posing for pictures.
Artur, the school's lead teacher, said "It was fantastic to welcome Sebastian to our school, the children have been excited about it for a while.
"We briefly met Sebastian last season, so it was brilliant for him to come in and to share his story with the pupils.
"A lot of the children have been in a similar position to him, moving here when they were really young and adapting to a new culture and country.
"So for them to see someone succeed in a career after a big move will be inspirational for them in years to come, and we have a lot of big footballers in the school who I'm sure will remember his words when they grow up."
Dabrowski expressed his excitement in connecting with the Polish community in Swansea, and hopes to continue to build the relationship.
"It was great to present and meet the pupils and parents of the Polish school, I wasn't aware of such a big Polish community here in Swansea," he said.
"I was in the same position as a lot of the children in moving to a new country at such a young age, and hopefully my presentation showed them that they can achieve anything."
