Sammy Henia-Kamau | We want to go all the way
Sammy Henia-Kamau and Swansea City Under-18s are eager to rise to the challenge of playing with silverware on the line when they face Millwall in the Professional Development League Cup final at the Den on Wednesday evening (7pm).
The age-grade side are just 90 minutes away from lifting the trophy, after they booked their place in the final by beating Watford 2-0 in the semi-final at Landore Training Ground last month.
Henia-Kamau, 17, netted his first hat-trick in Swansea colours in their opening PDL Cup game against Cardiff City back in September.
And now, the Jersey-born youngster is hoping to finish his first season in south Wales with a trophy to show for his efforts.
"We're excited, it's a huge game but we're all up for it and we've been working hard," said Henia-Kamau.
"We've been preparing as usual, we've been training hard and this has been on our minds since the semi-final win.
"They're a tough team, we know that as we've played them twice already this season. They're going to make it hard for us.
"But we all believe in ourselves, it's been a great competition for us so far and it was a great feeling to get my first hat-trick for the club in the group stages.
"The mood has been good in training, and we're all working together. We all want nothing more than to go all the way and win the trophy."
