Ryan Manning thunderbolt wins Westacres Goal of the Month vote

Ryan Manning’s thumping winner against Preston North End has been chosen as Swansea City’s Westacres Goal of the Month for January.

The Republic of Ireland international settled the content with the Lilywhites as he seized on a loose pass, drove forward and unleashed a fizzing strike from 25 yards to leave the keeper with no chance.

The superb goal beat off competition from Joel Piroe’s close-range finish against Southampton in the FA Cup, as well as Flynn Downes’ rounding off of a flowing team move against Huddersfield Town.
