Russell Martin | We want to be aggressive and make it a great weekend for our fans

Swansea City head coach Russell Martin wants his players to show an aggressive edge in the final third and give the travelling Jack Army a weekend to savour in Blackpool.
The Swans are one of 10 teams in the Championship aiming for their first victory of the league campaign this weekend, and will be looking to respond after recent disappointment against Blackburn and Oxford.
After the loss to Rovers, Martin's side had taken a commanding two-goal lead at Oxford in midweek, only to end up going out of the EFL Cup on penalties.
Blackpool head into the game having also suffered a penalty shootout loss against lower league opposition, as they exited the cup at the hands of League Two Barrow.
Martin was furious with the manner of the midweek reverse, and with over 1,500 Swans fans making the trip to the north-west coast, he wants his side to play with an intensity and willingness to take risks as they seek three points.

"Winning the first game will relax everyone. Looking at a few clubs where there's expectancy, they haven’t won yet," said Martin.
"We have a lot of people travelling, it’s up to us to make their weekend a really good one.
"Last year they brought a brilliant atmosphere, and we didn’t repay that with enough shots on target, with that willingness to be aggressive.
"Whenever this group has been challenged in terms of criticism, they have responded really well. Blackburn gave some really important reminders.
"We’ll try to bring the game we want to bring. It’s incredible the travelling support we have, you only have to look at nearly 900 making the journey to Oxford in midweek.
"I was just so angry with the way that game ended, but one moment can change the narrative so much."
