Russell Martin nominated for Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month

Swansea City head coach Russell Martin has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award for April.

The Swans were unbeaten during the month picking up 17 points from a total of 21, with five wins and two draws.

That run of results put the team second in the Championship form table and helped them climb from 16th to 10th. It also saw them keep four clean sheets and score 14 goals.

Martin faces competition from Rob Edwards (Luton Town), Paul Heckingbottom (Sheffield United), and Neil Warnock (Huddersfield Town).

The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL commentator Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.

The winner will be announced on Friday May 5, 2023.
