Ronald | We want to back up away wins on home turf
Ronald says Swansea City return to home soil this weekend determined to reproduce the level of performance shown in their recent away wins at Hull City and Sunderland.
The Brazilian winger, 22, was on the mark in the 2-1 win over the Black Cats as he netted a first-half brace at the Stadium of Light.
He also caught the eye in the 1-0 victory over the Tigers, courtesy of Liam Cullen’s finish from a clever set-piece, as part of two fine all-round team displays.
Head coach Luke Williams and his players have acknowledged the need to improve their displays and results at the Swansea.com Stadium, and Ronald views this weekend’s meeting with Blackburn Rovers as an opportunity to back up the three points on Wearside.
“We have had some tough results recently but we are working hard during the week and are focused and concentrated on putting in a good performance as a team,” he added. “Everyone is together in trying to improve each week. We're looking forward to being back home on Saturday and we hope the fans will be with us.
“We have had a good win and performance away from home. We're looking to put in another good performance at home.”
