Report: Swans 0 Manchester City 4
Swansea City were brushed aside by Manchester City as the Premier League leaders won 4-0 at the Liberty Stadium.
Just four days after beating West Brom in SA1, Paul Clement's side were ruthlessly taken apart by City, who took their league record to 16 wins and a draw from 17 games.
While Pep Guardiola's side remain well clear at the top of the table, the Swans - who dropped to bottom spot the previous night following Crystal Palace's win over Watford - are now two points from safety.
Two goals from David Silva and one each from Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero put the Swans to the sword, with the visitors leading 2-0 at the break.
Silva broke the deadlock on 27 minutes as waves of pressure finally told.
The opening goal came from City's right flank, with Bernardo Silva's cross finding the midfielder, and he tucked home from close range.
Seven minutes later it was 2-0, with De Bruyne's free-kick bouncing in a crowded box and past Fabianski.
The visitors continued their dominance in the second period.
Silva went close to making it 3-0 straight after the break when he was played in by Aguero, but the Spaniard fired wide.
He made no mistake soon after, though, as he latched onto Raheem Sterling's pass before dinking over Fabianski.
Aguero then compounded further misery on the Swans when he fired low and past Fabianski with an angled drive.
