Swansea City fans Pepsi, Scott and their children Noah, Lyla and Jacob have bravely chosen to share their story to support the club's partnership with Swansea Bay Health Charity's Cwtsh Clos Appeal on our dedicated matchday against Blackburn Rovers.

The appeal is aiming to raise funds for the refurbishment of five homes that are used by the families of sick and tiny babies in Singleton Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The houses provide a home away from home for the families of babies being treated in the intensive care unit, allowing them to stay nearby during what is an extremely difficult and stressful time for them. That’s especially the case when, like Swans fans, the families come from all parts of south and west Wales and travelling times and accommodation costs can add to the stress they’re experiencing. You can find out more HERE.

Pepsi and Scott, who hail from Merthyr Tydfil, used the accommodation twice in the space of less than a year after their sons Louie and Jacob were born prematurely.

Louie sadly passed away aged just six days, but Jacob is now a lively and healthy four-year-old.

Their story encapsulates just how vital the homes are to families facing some of the most challenging experiences, and why the fundraising appeal - which is now halfway to its £160,000 target - can make such a difference.
