An in-depth interview with Jason Bowen is the centrepiece of our free digital matchday programme for Swansea City’s south Wales derby meeting with Cardiff City.

Bowen spent five years with the Swans between 1990 and 1995, and was part of the side that secured the 1994 Autoglass Trophy at Wembley.

The forward went on to have five years in Cardiff colours too, and he reflects on his south Wales derby experiences in our extensive interview.

Former Wales international Bowen also talks about the impact of his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease, and the considerable challenges he and his family face as he receives treatment.

Both clubs are supporting Jason’s battle with the illness, which currently has no cure, and helping to raise money to aid his treatment and the costs associated with his diagnosis. You can find more details of those fundraising efforts, and how you can donate, here.
