Przemysław Płacheta | I am going to give everything I’ve got
Przemysław Płacheta says he is ready to give his all for Swansea City as the club enter the final stages of the season.
The Poland international joined Luke Williams’ squad on deadline day, tasked with adding pace and width for the Swans in a final third.
On the pitch, it’s been a challenging start in south Wales with the winger facing two of the Championship’s top four in his opening quartet of matches in Swansea colours.
But Płacheta is focused on improving with every training session and match, and feels points are coming for the Swans.
“I’m really enjoying it here,” he said.
“Since the first day and meeting my teammates, it’s been really great and I’m really happy.
“We just need to stay together, be positive, and take positives from games we’ve played.
“Of course, we are trying to make fewer mistakes, and to play better and score more goals and focus.
“I want to play as many games as possible. I’m fully focused on this club and this team. I want to fight for the club and hopefully win many games.
“I want to help the team and work hard, not only offensively, but defensively as well.”
The Swans make their longest trip of the season so far on Saturday with a visit to Sunderland.
The Black Cats sit 10th in the table, seven points outside the play-offs, and Płacheta is expecting another tough test.
“We need some points and we will fight for three points on Saturday,” he added.
“When I came here, I could see there is a lot of potential in this team under the gaffer.
“We have experience against the toughest teams, and it’s the Championship so every game is tough. We just need to focus on our gameplan and be more positive and confident in every game.
“I feel like we are capable of getting three points and we will try to do it. We need to be confident that we can go there and get three points.”
