PRE-MATCH VIEWS
Swansea City Women’s captain Katy Hosford: “It’s really important to bounce back this weekend.
“It was a tough weekend and there are a lot of things we need to improve on from that game and we’ll be looking to put that right this week.
“We are looking to get a better performance firstly, and then hopefully come away with three points.
“We’ve looked at what we need to improve on and we know ourselves that it wasn’t good enough.
“We have learnt in the opening games not to underestimate anybody in this league, we have to fight in every game for three points and we know they will come out fighting.”
PREVIOUS MEETING
The two sides last met in phase one of last seasons Genero Adran Premier campaign, with the Swans earning a 2-0 win away at USW Sport Park.
After a dominant first half Katy Hosford put her side in front just before the break, her long-range effort beating the goalkeeper.
The Swans continued to push for a second throughout the game, but it wouldn’t come until nine minutes from full-time as Jess Williams headed home to seal their first three points of 2023.
