Pre-match views

Jamie Sherwood v Cardiff Met

Jamie Sherwood, Swansea City Women first-team manager:

“We look forward to every game no matter who we are playing or where we are playing, but to be playing at the home of football in south Wales is a great experience for us.

“However, the experience will only be great if we achieve the objective of getting three points again.

"We've got to be prepared for a tough game, it's our home and I would like to think that no one comes into our home and takes anything from us.

"The first half against Cardiff Met last week optimised the identity that we want to consistently show, we didn't show it across a 90-minute period and that is the challenge now.

"Barry have done really well with their recruitment this summer, they had a strong unit last year and they've added to that."

Previous meeting

Stacey John-Davis v Barry

The two sides last met back in December, with the Swans earning a 4-0 win on the road.

Stacey John-Davis put the Swans in front four minutes in, before Nia Davies was forced into an own goal just a minute later.

Katy Hosford would seal the win with 10 minutes remaining, slotting home at the near post, before turning provider nine minutes later to set up Robyn Pinder for the fourth and final goal.
