Swansea City return to home soil looking to extend their unbeaten home record when they host Stoke City this afternoon (3pm).

Luke Williams' side have yet to suffer defeat in SA1 in the Championship this season.

The Potters, meanwhile, have picked up one win on their travels from their three away games this term, with that victory coming at Plymouth at the end of August.

TEAM NEWS

Liam Cullen Cele Coventry

With this being the third game in just six games for the Swans, head coach Williams may look to shuffle his pack again in this final fixture before the second international break of the season.

Liam Cullen missed the games against Bristol City and Sheffield United through illness but could come into contention.

Andy Fisher, Josh Ginnelly and Kristian Pedersen remain on the sidelines.

PRE-MATCH VIEWS

Luke Williams: "We have been brave because we have brought in a number of young players who are new to the Championship.

"They are picking up experience all the time, they are working hard and we keep trying to make steady progress and see if we can have a good season and challenge in some way.

"We are trying to strike a balance, we have guys like Joe Allen, Kyle Naughton and the captain who are excellent and help drive standards for the new guys.

"Like I say, it is a balancing act, but we are now getting ready to be back at home. We are unbeaten at home in the league, we love playing at home.

"The best way to recover from a defeat is to have another game quickly, so we look forward to it."

Narcis Pelach: “Hunger is the most important thing, the most important value that we need to show in every game.

"We need to be passionate about what we are doing. I think we saw it (against Portsmouth) and I saw it as well in the first half against Hull until we ran out of energy.

“As long as they are giving this attitude it’s what I want, this passion.

"I ask for that and organisation but I think the team is clever enough to understand that and we need to protect this energy.”

REMEMBER THE LAST TIME?

Goals from Liam Cullen, Matt Grimes and Josh Key saw Swansea City return to winning ways with a comprehensive victory over Stoke City at the Swansea.com Stadium.

Cullen gave the hosts the lead in the 19th minute when he steered home his seventh goal of the season from a well-worked set-piece.

Skipper Grimes then doubled the lead early in the second half with a thunderous penalty after Ollie Cooper had been brought down.

And Key rounded off the scoring when he fired into the roof of the net to end a sweeping attack.
