Swansea City have the chance to further extend their unbeaten home record when they welcome Millwall to the Swansea.com Stadium this afternoon (3pm).

The Swans return to SA1 having picked up a point on their travels at Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.

Millwall, meanwhile, picked up their fourth win of the season against Plymouth last time out.

Team news

Having shuffled the pack in midweek by making five changes, head coach Luke Williams may look to make further alterations at the conclusion of a three-game week.

Jisung Eom, Josh Ginnelly, Andy Fisher and Kristian Pedersen are all set to miss out.

Pre-match views

Luke Williams: “You know whenever you face Millwall you are in for a tough game.

“They are very organised, they are tough physically, they will be direct and challenge you in that way.

“They will not switch off for a moment and they will look to hurt us.

“They will be very bright and alert around second balls, and all those things in the world that a football team needs to do, all those fundamentals, they will do them very well.

“They have a very experienced manager who gets his message across to the players brilliantly, and therefore you know they are never going to be able to tickle their bellies.

“But we are unbeaten at home, we want to keep that going and we want that feeling going out on the pitch. If you go a certain number of games without losing, and hopefully winning more than you draw, you start to go out there and feel you are in the right place and the results are going to come.

“That is what happens with consistent performance, sustaining that is not easy but we certainly want to sustain this run at home and to be a tough place for people to come to.”

Neil Harris: “People have seen us – we clearly don’t have the points return that we really deserve.

“We have made chances all season, and we haven’t been clinical enough.

“The Plymouth game wasn’t one of our better performances this season, but we did enough to win the game.

“We showed a goof mentality and we need to continue that."

Remember the last time?

Josh Key Millwall

Casper De Norre struck the only goal of the game as Swansea City’s 2023-24 season ended with defeat to Millwall at the Swansea.com Stadium.

The Belgian arrived to fire home with 18 minutes to play after the hosts had lost the ball in their own half, and it proved enough to settle the contest.

The Swans had seen skipper Matt Grimes denied from the penalty spot a few minutes before the Millwall breakthrough, while Jamie Paterson and Ronald were unable to convert presentable chances.

The game ended with both sides a man down as Jerry Yates and Japhet Tanganga saw red in the closing stages after a clash between the pair started a melee.
