Swansea City look to continue their excellent run of recent form when they host Hull City at the Swansea.com Stadium this afternoon (3pm).

The Swans have won their last three games, and kept clean sheets in all of those victories, which has helped them climb into the top half of the Championship table.

Hull, meanwhile, are battling to retain their second-tier status and sit three points above the relegation zone with four games remaining.

Team news

Alan Sheehan Derby

Alan Sheehan has reported no new injury concerns for the Swans squad following the win over Sunderland on Wearside, but Hannes Delcroix is touch and go with an adductor problem which kept him out at Sunderland.

Kristian Pedersen and Filip Lissah are continuing their recoveries from injury, and have returned to training.

Pre-match views

Alan Sheehan: “I think we are in a positive place, so it’s beautiful to have that feeling.

“The aim has to be to keep it going. It’s a case of one game at a time, and Hull will be a difficult challenge with how they are doing and they will be battling for the points they need to stay in the division.

“They are coming to our place and we expect a difficult game. We have decent momentum, but we understand that can get taken away from you if you take it for granted.

“We have the challenge of finishing as high as we can, we need the group to believe in that and at the moment you can see a very good team.

“If we keep it going it means we will have got a whole lot right. We are where we are because of the values we have.

“But you cannot take it for granted, you have to hit those standards every time we go out on the pitch.

“We do not want to take our foot off the pedal, we want to continue our good run.

“This will be a tough test, we had a difficult game up there, Ruben (Selles) has done a good job there but we know we have a big crowd coming and we want to try and win another game.”

Ruben Selles: "We need to play the tempo we want to play, be as effective as we can in possession and attack the spaces we are preparing for in the game, then try to control defensively the moments.

"I think they are a different team now to one month ago and they are a different team to the one we played in December (winning 2-1). They were very close to the play-offs at that moment.

"Since they changed their manager they've got five victories and their team has changed its identity a little bit, (they are now) a very aggressive team with some very clear moments.

"They are a very dynamic team and they've scored a couple of goals from set-pieces in the last couple of games.

"It's going to be a difficult team to beat, a good challenge."

Remember the last time?

Goals from Jamie Paterson and Jerry Yates weren’t enough as Swansea City had to settle for a point after being pegged back by Hull City when the Tigers last visited the Swansea.com Stadium.

It was an end-to-end affair in SA1, with both sides creating chances but Paterson had a big say in the opening 45 minutes as he gave the Swans the lead in the 17th minute, and his parried shot then allowed Yates to tap in a second for the hosts six minutes later.

But the visiting Tigers responded in the second half with Jaden Philogene lashing in at the near post before Tyler Morton finished first time to draw the sides level.
