Swansea City Under-21s return to the Swansea.com Stadium on Monday afternoon as they welcome Bristol City to SA1 for their Professional Development League Fixture (3pm).

The young Swans will be hoping to extend their 100 per cent record at the stadium, having gone unbeaten in nine games over the the past two seasons.

Swansea are also unbeaten on home turf so far this season following a win and a draw against Crewe Alexandra and Barnsley respectively.

The Robins currently sit in seventh position in the PDL South division, with two wins under their belt over Barnsley and Crewe Alexandra.

 

Pre-match views

Coach Anthony Wright: "It's always a good occasion for the boys to have these stadium games, and there will be a few boys who will have that experience for the first time.

"I thought the boys were brilliant against Fleetwood in the cup, which saw a lot of players return from injury.

"We've had some games rescheduled due to internationals, so we look forward to getting back in league action in front of the fans."

Swansea City Under-21s extended their impressive winning record at the Swansea.com Stadium and made it four Professional Development League victories in a row as they defeated Bristol City on the Robins last visit to the ground.

The development side took control when Kyrell Wilson opened the scoring just after the 10-minute mark.

The Robins equalised through Ollie Thomas after the break, but a second goal from Wilson and a Charlie Veevers strike saw the Swans take all three points.

Swansea City Under 21s: Evan Watts, Joe Thomas, Josh Carey (Caio Ifans 65), Mitchell Bates, Filip Lissah, Kian Jenkins, Kyrell Wilson (Glory Nzingo 83), Joel Cotterill, Maliq Cadogan (Charlie Veevers 77), Ben Lloyd (Cameron Llewellyn 83), Cameron Congreve.
