Swansea City Under-18s welcome Peterborough United to Landore in their first home Professional Development League fixture of the season on Friday (11am).

The young Swans kicked off their PDL campaign last weekend with a 1-0 victory over last season's play-off runners-up, Barnsley.

The Posh, meanwhile, also started their campaign positively with a 3-1 win against Colchester United.

Coach Jarred Harvey: "Last week, everyone showed immense character and adaptability, and that’s what’s pleased me most.

"The lads stood up to the challenge and come out with a result. They've been training hard, and I'm sure a lot of the boys are excited to play in front of their friends and family on Friday."

Aimar Govea

Swansea City Under-18s kicked off their Professional Development League campaign with victory over Peterborough United when the sides last met at Landore.

Thomas Woodward scored the opening goal of the afternoon when he finished from an Aimar Govea delivery shortly after the break.

And Govea bagged a goal of his own with a wonderful strike from outside the box with 11 minutes remaining.

Tyler Winters converted a penalty in stoppage time for Posh, after 10 minutes were added on, but the home side claimed all three points.
