Swansea City Under-18s are back on the road when they travel to face Ipswich Town on Saturday morning in the Professional Development League (11.30am).

The young Swans have won three games on their travels this season, with those wins coming against Barnsley, AFC Bournemouth and Plymouth Argyle respectively.

However, they suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat last time out as Watford claimed a dominant victory at the Joma High Performance Centre.

The Swans and Ipswich sit on equal points in the PDL South table. The Tractor Boys were defeated 5-0 by Bristol City in their most-recent game.

First-half goals from Thomas Woodward and Rohan Davies sent Swansea City Under-18s through to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup with victory over Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

The opening half was an entertaining affair with chances for both sides, but the Swans were the ones to break the deadlock after Woodward finished calmly from Aimar Govea's delivery.

The visitors would double their lead minutes later with Davies chesting home after Govea had struck the woodwork.

The Tractor Boys pulled a goal back on the brink of half-time as Steven Turner converted a penalty, but there were no further goals in the second half as the Swans reached the fourth round for the first time since the 2020-2021 campaign.
