Swansea City Under-18s kick off their Professional Development League Cup campaign as they welcome Bristol City to Landore on Tuesday afternoon (12pm). 

Finalists of the competition last season, the young Swans will compete in Group G alongside Bristol City, Plymouth Argyle and Cheltenham Town. 

Swansea were defeated in the final at The Den last term, as Millwall left it late and scored two extra-time goals to clinch the trophy.

The young Robins started their PDL season brightly with back-to-back wins against Crewe Alexandra and Barnsley respectively, but fell to defeat to Burnley last time out.

Swansea City Under-18s suffered defeat against table-toppers Bristol City in their Professional Development League clash at Landore.

The visitors took the lead in the first half when Josh Campbell-Slowey converted from a corner-kick. The Swans had chances through Sammy Henia-Kamau, Rohan Davies and Yori Griffith but were unable to make them count.

Instead, Bristol doubled their lead just beyond the hour mark, Callum Hewlett slotting home from the spot. 

The visitors sealed the three points with two goals in the final 10 minutes as substitutes Rushon Walker and Brandon Bak slotted home.
