Swansea City Ladies welcome tier-two side Pwllheli to Llandarcy in the FAW Women’s Cup quarter-final this afternoon (2pm).

The Swans are looking to respond following their first defeat of the season last week against Cardiff Met in the Genero Adran League Cup last eight.

Pwllheli have a strong history in the competition having reached the final in 2006 where they lost out to Cardiff City Ladies.

Chris Church’s side will be hoping to reach the semi-final as they target their fourth Women’s cup title.

Pre-match views

Chris Church: “It is another big trophy and another big trophy that we want to win.

“A second-tier side coming to a top-tier side is a David versus Goliath situation and anything can happen.

“But if we are on it, on top of more match fitness, then I am expectant that the team will respond with a win."

Remember the last time?

This is the first time the two sides will have come up against each other.
