PREVIEW: Swans U18s v Watford U18s
15th December
The Under-18s begin their FA Youth Cup campaign when they host Watford at Stebonheath Park on Tuesday (7pm).
The young Swans have been in fine form of late, winning their last seven matches in all competitions - including a 4-1 victory over Brentford last weekend.
And coach Cameron Toshack is hoping the squad can continue their recent progress against the Hornets, with the winner of Tuesday's tie hosting either Doncaster or Norwich in round four.
"It is a great opportunity for us all to test ourselves against a side that has a rich history of producing young players," he said. "And having watched Watford on a couple of occasions, they are a very useful team.
"It would be great to see as many supporters down there as possible as I believe it would really give the boys a lift.
"Playing in front of a crowd is another part of their development and they will need to get used to that as they progress.
"But we are all really looking forward to it and it is yet another challenge for the staff and players to react to."
Admission to Tuesday's game is £3 for adults and £1 concessions.
In the event of the scores being level at full time, extra time and penalties will be required to decide a winner.
