Preview | Sunderland v Swansea City

Swansea City will look to continue their fine run of form when they travel to face promotion-chasing Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The Swans have taken seven points from their last three games, and 14 from their last eight in total, to move nine points clear of the bottom three.
They claimed back-to-back wins and clean sheets on home soil against Derby County and Plymouth Argyle, and now make the trek to Wearside to face a Black Cats side who have already secured their play-off place and can still mathematically snatch an automatic promotion spot.
Team news

Alan Sheehan must decide whether to make changes for the third game in a week, and a short turnaround from Wednesday's game against Plymouth into the long journey to the north-east.
There were no new injury concerns following the win over Argyle other than the usual bumps and bruises.
Kristian Pedersen is the only confirmed absentee for the Swans.
Pre-match views

Alan Sheehan: “You can never be complacent, and that is not a word I would associate with this group of players.
“Now we have to dust ourselves down after what was a really positive night for the club, and one where I felt a lot of pride at how the team played.
“Now it’s about getting to the next level. We have got past the 50-point mark, I think we moved up another place.
“But that challenge is always there, to finish as high as you can and to get the best points tally you can.
“Doing that is about focusing on every single game, there are five games to go and we have had a really positive period with 14 points from eight games.
“We’ve got a difficult game coming up, so we have to approach that properly, dust ourselves down and go into it knowing we are playing an excellent team.”
Regis Le Bris: “There are still many areas we need to improve, but these experiences help us assess our level and learn from them.
“We’re in a really good place at this stage of the season, so it’s possible to manage the squad and keep everyone fresh - that’s a key objective for the remainder of the campaign.”
Meet the officials

Remember the last time?
Ronald’s first Swansea City goals rewarded a fine away performance and secured three points against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The Swans completely dominated the opening half, and deservedly led after the Brazilian first steered home a rebound following a flowing team move, before volleying home at the end of a rapid counter-attack.
The visitors could, and perhaps should, have been further ahead at the break, but they claimed the three points despite Luke O’Nien’s header pulling a goal back for the hosts and having to weather a prolonged period of late pressure.
Prime numbers
7 - The Swans are unbeaten in their last seven visits to the Stadium of Light, last losing on Wearside in 2012.
72 - No defender in the Championship has created more chances than Josh Tymon's tally of 72.
