Hillsborough Sheffield Wednesday

Swansea City will look to bounce back from defeat at Blackburn when they travel to face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough tonight (7.45pm).

In fact, both sides will be seeking to return to winning ways, with the Owls having lost to Burnley on home soil at the weekend.

The Swans have a good record against the south Yorkshire side, losing just once to them since 1984.

Luke Williams Press Conference

Luke Williams: “We are expecting a tough game, a team that are really well organised and well coached with a good manager.

“But we have to try to look at the opportunity we have to try to improve our season by getting more points on the road.”

Danny Röhl: “We have to improve in both boxes and this is our intention week-by-week. For me, we have made improvements, achieved some good results, but this is football and there will be setbacks.

“Losing on Saturday was a setback, now we must show our side of how we can respond on Tuesday.”

Remember the last time?

Jamal Lowe struck a late equaliser to secure Swansea City a point against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

The Swans had trailed in south Yorkshire to Bailey Cadamarteri’s close-range effort, which gave the Owls the interval lead.

But Luke Williams’ side were improved after the break and claimed a share of the spoils when Lowe was on hand to fire home his eighth goal of the season with 14 minutes to go, after a header from a corner had dropped to him in the area.
