Preview | Reading U21s v Swansea City U21s
Swansea City Under-21s travel to the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Monday to face Reading looking to continue a good run of form in the Professional Development League (2pm kick-off).
It's been over three years since the two sides last met competitively, as the Royals embark on their first season in the Professional Development League after being reassigned as a Category Two academy set-up for the 2022-23 season.
Monday will be the under-21s' third game in seven days, winning their previous two against Millwall and Watford, keeping two clean sheets.
The Royals sit one place above the young Swans in the table. Their most recent outing saw them beat in-form Charlton Athletic 2-1 at Sparrows Lane.

Swansea City Under-21s’ coach Anthony Wright: “It’s always great to play at stadiums, it's something we'd love to do more throughout the games programme.
"It's always a nice occasion for the players, it gives them a sense of realism to the game.
"We'll look forward to going up on Monday, on the back of some good wins, so the competition will be there.
"The performances over the last few weeks have been very good, and hopefully we can now take that into our away performances."

Lucas Boye scored the only goal of the game as Swansea City Under-23s were condemned to a 1-0 defeat by Reading in the Premier League Cup.
The Argentine striker’s 42nd-minute effort was enough to separate the two sides in the Group A showdown at the Laithwaite Community Stadium.
The Swans, who handed first starts at this level to Scott Butler, Will Rickard and Ali Al-Hamadi, rallied towards the end of the game, but were just unable to find the equaliser as they suffered their maiden defeat in that season’s competition.
