Swansea City Under-21s are back in action this evening as they travel to face Queens Park Rangers at the SkyEx Community Stadium (7pm).

The Swans face the Hoops for the second time in eight days, with QPR running out 5-0 winners at the Joma High Performance Centre just last week.

The hosts sit just one point above the Swans in the Professional Development League South table, having won their last two league fixtures, scoring 13 goals in total.

Swansea will be looking to bounce back from a tough run of form, having not won on the road since a win at Peterborough United in January.

Coach Anthony Wright: "Last Monday's result wasn't to our standard, especially after we had a dominant first-half performance.

"But we've had a solid week of training, and we play them again for the second time in eight days, so we want to put last week's performance behind us and go again."

Queens Park Rangers 3 Swansea City 1

Swansea City Under-21s fell to defeat away to table-toppers Queens Park Rangers in a hard-fought contest at the Powerday Stadium in the Professional Development League.

Both sides exchanged chances in the opening quarter. DC United loanee Kristian Fletcher proved dangerous up front for the Swans, but the hosts broke the deadlock through Kayden Harrack, who drilled home following a Rangers’ corner.

The home side made it two following the restart through Elijah Dixon-Bonner, but Filip Lissah fired home not long after to halve Swansea’s deficit.

However, the Hoops hit back to restore their two-goal advantage, with Alfie Lloyd finishing off a fine solo run.
