Swans u21s v Millwall u21s

Swansea City Under-21s are quickly back in action as they travel to London to take on Millwall for the second time in just five days on Friday (2pm).

The Swans hosted the Lions on Monday afternoon, and suffered late heartbreak as stoppage-time goals from Tom Leahy and Abdulahi Abdulazeez snatched a 4-3 win for former Swan Kevin Nugent's visitors.

Millwall's victory in south Wales was their fourth on the bounce, and pushed them up to fourth place in the Professional Development League South table.

Swansea, meanwhile, claimed victory on their last trip on the road as they ran out 2-1 winners against Peterborough United thanks to goals from Sammy Henia-Kamau and Thomas Woodward.

Pre-match views

Coach Anthony Wright: "I was very disappointed for the players on Monday, I thought they played well and deserved to get that win, especially with the young team we put out, and the younger ones did fantastic.

"We face Millwall very quickly again, we'll have some different boys available, which will be good to get minutes in their legs.

"They're a very physical team, and an established team, we'll look forward to the trip."
