Preview | Leicester City v Swansea City
Swansea City return to league action this evening as they prepare to face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium (7.45pm kick-off).
The Swans will be looking to bounce back after a difficult evening which saw them bow out of the FA Cup at the hands of Premier League Bournemouth last week.
The Foxes will be hoping to build on the form which has seen them lose only twice in the league on home turf this season.
TEAM NEWS
Head coach Luke Williams has confirmed Josh Tymon is fit and available for Tuesday’s trip after sitting out the FA Cup tie last week.
There was also positive news for centre-back Ben Cabango who is back on the grass with the squad – though the Swans boss confirmed Tuesday would likely come too soon for him.
Cabango, Sam Parker, Josh Key, Azeem Abdulai and Liam Walsh all remain out.
PRE-MATCH VIEWS
Luke Williams: “We now have an incredibly tough game against a team who are likely to be in the Premier League next season.
“We have to take as much learning as we can from Bournemouth and try to make a better fist of it in this one.
“Now we need a different approach, and that’s what we have been working on.”
Leicester midfielder Marc Albrighton: “It’s another tough test. No matter which team you come up against in this league, it’s always going to be a hard game. We’ve seen that over the course of this season already. Every fixture that we’ve had, we’ve been made to work for it.
“We’ve done really well so far to come out on top in the majority of those games, so hopefully we can take confidence from the cup game and get the result.”
MEET THE OFFICIALS
Keith Stroud will be the man in charge and is a regular face at Swans matches having taken charge of four games last term. The most memorable of those being the dramatic 3-2 win over Cardiff City in April 2023.
On Tuesday, Stroud will be assisted by Lee Venamore and Mark Russell. David Webb will be the fourth official.

REMEMBER THE LAST TIME?
The Swans earned a point when they came from behind to record a 1-1 draw on their last visit to Leicester City.
They had it all to do when Jamie Vardy slotted home in the 17th minute, while Wilfred Ndidi saw his goal on the half-hour mark chalked off for offside.
But Carlos Carvahal's side stretched their unbeaten run to seven games in all competitions thanks to Federico Fernandez's second-half equaliser.
The Swans' afternoon was marred by an injury to Leroy Fer, who was stretchered off with an Achilles problem.
PRIME NUMBERS
1 – Since November 4, the Swans have only failed to score in one league game.
10 - Jamie Paterson’s goal against Southampton took him to six for the season. He has now recorded 10 goal contributions this campaign, having also registered four assists.
39 - Despite first meeting in a 1929 FA Cup match, the two sides have only played each other 39 times. Leicester City have the bragging rights so far having won more than the Swans.
