Swansea City Under-18s are back in Professional Development League action when they travel to face Charlton Athletic on Saturday afternoon (1pm).

The Swans were knocked out of the FA Youth Cup earlier this week following defeat to Premier League 2 outfit, Southampton.

But they come into this fixture on the back of wins in the league against Millwall and Colchester United respectively.

The young Addicks, meanwhile, have lost their last six fixtures in all competitions. They last picked up three points on home turf in September with victory over Colchester United.

Coach Jarred Harvey: "It's a quick turnaround, and a chance to bounce back from the FA Youth Cup defeat.

"I was really pleased with the boys' performance against a tough side, and hopefully we can take those positives into Saturday.

"We've had back-to-back wins in the league, and that will definitely give us some confidence going to Charlton."

Swansea City Under-18s were narrowly defeated on their travels as Charlton Athletic came from a goal down to win on their last visit to Sparrows Lane.

Callum Jones topped off his first start for the under-18s with a maiden goal, opening the scoring for the visitors just eight minutes into the contest after being picked out by Aimar Govea.

But the Addicks went on to score either side of the break thanks to Micah Mbick and Ibrihim Fullah to complete their comeback and claim their third consecutive league victory.
