Preview | Carmarthen Town v Swansea City
Swansea City Under-21s will kick off their debut Nathaniel MG Cup campaign when they take on Carmarthen Town at Richmond Park this afternoon (2.30pm).
The Swans have received a wildcard entry to the competition, with the club competing against teams from the JD Cymru Leagues.
This will mark the first time the Swans have featured in the competition, and it will provide valuable exposure to senior football for a number of young players in the club's ranks.
The under-21s secured a 6-1 over Briton Ferry Llansawel in the first fixture of their pre-season preparations last weekend, with goals from Glory Nzingo (2), Iwan Morgan, Liam Smith, Thomas Woodward and Ruben Davies.
Carmarthen sealed a fourth-place finish in the JD Cymru South last season, finishing the campaign on a six-game unbeaten run.
Formerly managed by Swans assistant coach Kristian O'Leary, Carmarthen are three-time winners of the Welsh League Cup, claiming the trophy in back-to-back seasons in 2013 and 2014.
Tickets are pay-on-the-day only, and only cash will be accepted at the turnstiles.
Prices are as follows:
Adults - £5
Concessions - £2

Under-21s' coach Anthony Wright: "It's a brand new competition for us, which is exciting for everyone involved.
"It's also an opportunity for the younger players to play against some more senior players in a competitive environment.
"Not only that, it's a great competition within the Welsh football pyramid and we are very happy the FAW have given us this entry, as it will only aid the development of our players.
"We're looking forward to playing a new team, pre-season has been going well and, hopefully, we'll see a lot of Swans fans there cheering the boys on."
