Preview | Cardiff Met Women vs Swansea City Ladies
Swansea City Ladies travel to face Cardiff Met in their first away fixture of Phase Two in the Genero Adran Premier this afternoon (2pm kick off).
The Swans come into the game looking to return to winning ways after seeing victory snatched away by a last-gasp Cardiff City equaliser in their last outing.
The fixture sees the Swans look to extend their unbeaten run to 13 league games, having not lost a league fixture since September.
Cardiff Met currently sit third in the table, just three points behind Swansea.
Met had a difficult start to Phase Two, suffering a 2-0 defeat away to The New Saints Women in their opening fixture, coming just a week after their FAW Women’s Cup semi-final defeat at home to Cardiff City Women.

Swansea City Ladies head coach Ceri Phillips: “Last Sunday took a lot out of us, emotionally, mentally and physically, but there’s no time like the present to try and kick on and get back to a positive result.
“We’ll just be looking for a bit more of a polished performance this Sunday, try to play a bit more football and try to be the best version of us.
“We have to be confident in what we are going to do, Cardiff Met are never an easy team to beat, we know that and a lot of this group will know that from years gone by.
“I felt we did enough to get a win last time against them, it’s important for us now to be a bit more clinical and to turn these draws into wins."
Previous meeting
In the last meeting between these two sides, the Swans were held to a 1-1 draw away at Cardiff Met.
Despite a positive start from the Swans, Met found themselves ahead after Sophie Hancocks scored directly from a corner.
But just two minutes later Nieve Jenkins would pull Swansea level, heading home her first league goal of the season.
Both sides pushed for a winner in a scrappy second half, but they were forced to share the spoils.
