Swans Women v Limerick

Swansea City Women begin their 2024-25 Genero Adran Premier campaign with a trip to Cardiff Met Women (2pm kick-off).

The fixture will be Jamie Sherwood’s first competitive fixture in charge of the side since joining as first-team manager in May, while seven new signings could make their debuts.

Cardiff Met also have a new boss at the helm, with Chris Baker having been put in interim charge of the side following a sixth-place finish last season.

Jamie Sherwood v Bridgwater

Swansea City Women’s first-team manager Jamie Sherwood: “We are ready, we want to stamp what we are capable of doing and the opening game gives us that opportunity.

“There have been a lot of changes at Cardiff Met, players and coaches coming and going, so they are very much transitioning from what they were to what they are.

“I expect a tough encounter, but we will be prepared to face them, we will worry about ourselves and make sure we are ready to play the game.”
