Pre-match views

Hosford v Cardiff

Swansea City Women’s captain Katy Hosford: “The mood in the camp is really good at the moment, we’re all feeling really positive after three good results and we want to keep that going for the rest of the season.

“Aberystwyth have made it difficult for us in the past and we all expect it to be no different this weekend, they’ll be on a high after securing safety so they will definitely be up for the game.

“We just want to keep growing on our performances each week, we’ve been scoring goals and working well as a team and we just want to keep that going and finish the season as strongly as we can.”

Previous meeting

Emily Thomas v Wrexham

In the previous meeting between the two sides, the Swans came away from Park Avenue with a dominant 4-0 win over the Seasiders.

The Swans couldn’t capitalise on a dominant first half, but Emily Thomas broke the deadlock early in the second half.

Chloe Chivers doubled the lead with a superb strike from distance, before Aimee Deacon tapped home a third from close range.

And Taite Trivett rounded off the scoring late on, bursting from her own half and finishing well to make it four for the Swans.
