Premier League Cup fixtures confirmed for Swansea City U21s

Swansea City Under-21s will face Arsenal, Stoke City and Burnley in the Premier League Cup.

The young Swans will begin their cup campaign with a trip to London to face Arsenal, followed by a trio of home matches at Landore, before finishing the group stage with visits to Stoke and Burnley, respectively.

The fixtures are as follows (home games in bold):

Arsenal (A) Wed Aug 17, 7pm at Boreham Wood FC

Stoke City (H) Thu Sep 22, 2pm at Landore

Burnley (H) Mon Nov 21, 2pm at Landore

Arsenal (H) Sat Nov 26, 2pm at Landore

Stoke City (A) Fri Dec 9, 7pm at St George's Park

Burnley (A) Mon Dec 19, 2pm at the County Ground

The scheduling of the opening Premier League Cup fixture against the Gunners means the Swans’ league fixture against Coventry City – originally due to be played on August 15 - has been moved to Friday, November 11.

There are also a further two changes to the Swans’ league programme. Kick-off for the away trip to Cardiff City (October 11) has moved from 7pm to 1pm, while the away trip to Watford will now take place on February 24 (kick-off 1pm).
