Potter positive ahead of Robins test
Graham Potter says Swansea City head to Bristol City in confident and positive mood following their good run of form.
The Swans are unbeaten in seven games after scoring a last-gasp equaliser against Birmingham in midweek, and are five points off the Championship play-off places.
They will face a Robins side who have also been on an excellent run; Lee Johnson’s men have gone 12 games without defeat and have won their last six in all competitions.
But, with a sold-out travelling contingent of 3,300 set to cheer the Swans on at Ashton Gate, Potter is looking forward to the contest.
“It’s going to be a tough challenge for us but we are in quite a good place ourselves, so we will go there in a good mood and be confident and positive,” he said.
“Bristol City are a good team, but we are fighting for points and we will carry that on.
“The support we have had has been incredible and we are looking forward to the game because we have got a good following going there and I think it’s going to be a fantastic day.
“We will be ready for the game.”
