Potter: Bony exit a possibility
Graham Potter has confirmed Wilfried Bony could leave Swansea City before the January transfer window closes on Thursday night.
Manager Potter revealed there had been interest in the striker from clubs in Qatar, and there was a possibility the 30-year-old could move on and bring his second spell in SA1 to an end.
The Ivorian rejoined the Swans from Manchester City in the summer of 2017 but suffered a serious knee injury the following February, which kept him sidelined for nine months.
He returned to action in the victory over Bolton in November, and has scored once in seven appearances for the Swans this term.
"I think the Wilf situation is progressing a little bit," said Potter.
"It is quite quiet at the moment. Wilfried leaving is a possibility but I don't think anything is done.
"I believe it is a team in Qatar, he has a couple of options and it is moving towards the possibility of him leaving.
"But there is nothing 100 per cent concrete at the moment, and while he is a player at Swansea City I remain open-minded."
