Penybont FC to host supporter engagement evening
Swansea City will head to Penybont FC in Bridgend for a supporter engagement evening on Tuesday, April 23.
Head coach Luke Williams, chairman Andy Coleman, academy manager Gavin Levey, and Swans captain Matt Grimes will all be in attendance at the SDM Glass Stadium.
The evening – which is free to attend - will be compered by Kev Johns and runs from 7pm until 9pm.
The event, which has been backed by the Supporters’ Trust, will see Luke and Gavin provide insight to fans about the first team and academy setups, as well as taking some questions from the floor.
“I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many supporters already during my time at the club,” said Swans head coach Williams.
“They are incredible, so supportive, and so passionate about their club and I love that.
“I’ve always said it’s our duty to give them something to get behind and I’m really looking forward to engaging further with the Jack Army.”
Supporters’ Trust chair Dave Dalton added: “We are grateful to the club in helping us get another supporter engagement event lined up before the end of the season.
“We always like to see events such as these spread across the south and west Wales areas, where we know we have a huge number of the Jack Army who routinely travel hundreds of miles to support the Swans home and away.
“These types of events are a small reward for their amazing support and we are looking forward to what should be a great evening for the Bridgend Jacks.”
