Paul's big Swans surprise
Swans fan Paul Griffiths was given a big surprise when he celebrated his 50th birthday.
Paul, from Pembroke Dock, suffered brain damage while undergoing childhood vaccinations, with his family having to raise £2,000 for critical treatment in America.
The Swans played their part in helping raise funds by playing Pembroke Boro in a charity match in 1976 – a game in which Alan Curtis featured.
Given a life expectancy of just eight, Paul’s treatment worked and he is now celebrating reaching his latest landmark.
A keen Swans supporter, season ticket holder Paul was delighted to be presented with a shirt signed by the squad and a video message from the likes of Curtis, manager Graham Potter, Bersant Celina, Connor Roberts, Oli McBurnie and Lee Trundle at his party.
