Past meetings: Wolves v Swans
As the Swans get set to face Wolves at Molineux this weekend, we look back at some previous encounters between the clubs.
Here we recall past meetings in the Premier League and the old Division Three.
Wolves 2 Swans 2
Premier League – October 22, 2011
The Swans claimed their first point away from home in the Premier League, but were disappointed not to leave with all three after an entertaining contest at Molineux.
Despite losing all four of their top-flight matches on the road so far, Brendan Rodgers’ men established early control on the contest.
Danny Graham put them in front midway through the half with his third goal in as many games, while Joe Allen added a second 12 minutes.
However, a late surge from Wolves in the final six minutes gave them a share of the spoils with Kevin Doyle halving the deficit, before Jamie O’Hara smashed home the equaliser beyond a helpless Michel Vorm.

Division Three – April 23, 1989
The Swans were on a run of four straight league defeats when they travelled to the West Midlands.
Meanwhile, Wolves were flying high and closing in on securing back-to-back promotions.
The hosts were though still feeling the disappointment of their Football League Trophy Area final defeat by Torquay United just five days previously.
And Ian Evans’ Swans produced a spirited performance with Colin West on target as they claimed a hard-earned point.
Wolves 1 Swans 5
Division Three – September 14, 1985
The Swans were aiming to put their disappointing start to the new season behind them.
John Bond’s side had lost each of their opening four league matches, but had stopped the rot with a 1-0 win over Rotherham United the previous week.
Meanwhile, Wolves were among the favourites for an immediate return to the Second Division following their relegation just four months earlier.
However, it was all one-way traffic at Molineux as Robin Turner scored twice, while Gary Emmanuel, Colin Randell and Tommy Hutchison were also on target in a commanding Swans win.
