Oliveira's ready for a reunion
14th January
Having made his Swansea City debut last weekend, Nelson Oliveira can look forward to meeting some familiar faces when Chelsea visit the Liberty on Saturday.
The Portuguese international, who joined the club on a season-long loan from Benfica earlier this month, came off the bench to make his first appearance for the Swans in the 1-1 draw with West Ham.
Jose Mourinho's Blues are up next for Garry Monk's side, with Oliveira set to go up against some former team-mates.
Current Chelsea midfielders Ramires and Nemanja Matic were both at Benfica with Oliveira, while he also played against Oscar during the Under-20 World Cup final in 2011 as Brazil won 3-2 in a tournament in which the current Swans loanee was named second-best player.
And Oliveira revealed he is relishing the challenge of testing himself against the Barclays Premier League leaders.
"I am looking forward to playing against Chelsea," said the 23-year-old. "They are a really good team, and they have players there that I know from Benfica in Ramires and Nemanja Matic. I also played with Oscar at the U20 World Cup.
"I won't speak to them before the game, but maybe after. I'm just concentrating on Swansea."
