Oli's heading home
Oli McBurnie is on his way back to Swansea City to join preparations for the trip to Aston Villa.
The Swans return to action after the international break when they go to Villa Park on Saturday.
And leading scorer McBurnie will have a big part to play in the build-up to the Villa clash having won two more caps for Scotland.
Having come on as a substitute in Israel last Thursday, McBurnie was handed a start as the Scots played Portugal in Glasgow on Sunday.
He played for 76 minutes as Alex McLeish’s team were beaten 3-1, with former Swans Eder among the scorers for the Portuguese.
The Swans will however be without a number of players until later in the week.
Connor Roberts, Joe Rodon, Declan John and Daniel James are with the Wales squad for their game against the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday, while Martin Olsson and Kristoffer Nordfeldt could feature for Sweden against Slovakia on the same night.
Defender Cameron Carter-Vickers is with the USA for their game against Peru in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Joel Asoro’s Sweden Under-21s play Belgium on Tuesday, while the likes of Liam Cullen and Aaron Lewis are set for Welsh Under-21 action against Switzerland in Newport the same night.
