No fresh injury concerns ahead of West Bromwich Albion
Swansea City head coach Michael Duff has confirmed that there are no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s Championship match against West Bromwich Albion.
Ben Cabango – who was left out of Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup win over Northampton Town as a precaution – trained with the team on Thursday.
Swans boss Duff also confirmed Josh Ginnelly and Mykola Kuharevich are not ready to start yet after missing much of pre-season through injury.
“We’ve come through Tuesday’s game well,” he said.
“The numbers were high in terms of physicality which showed in the performance. Because we ran hard, that made the game easier and we came through it well.
“Everyone came through it. Ben Cabango is fine, he trained today but resting him was just a precaution.
“Mykola and Josh need time. We’re having to bring them up on the job, but we have good squad depth.”
Steven Benda and Liam Walsh remain longer-term injuries with Duff confirming that the latter is still four-to-five weeks away.
