Nico Defreitas-Hansen joins Swansea City from Everton
Swansea City has completed the signing of goalkeeper Nico Defreitas-Hansen from Everton on a free transfer, subject to international clearance.
The 19-year-old, who was born in Florida, will link up with the Swans' under-23 squad ahead of the new season.
Detreitas-Hansen has put pen to paper on a one-year contract in SA1, with the option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
The teenager has represented the United States at under-14, under-15 and under-16 level, but also qualifies to play for Brazil and Denmark, and he has been capped by the latter’s under-19 side.
Defreitas-Hansen joined Everton as a 16-year-old, and went on to sign his first professional contract with the club in the summer of 2019.
